The artwork was inspired by juniper brandy.
“THE GATHERING RITUAL” celebrates the production of this distinctive spirit, with a particular focus on the gathering of juniper berries. Much of my inspiration came from walking between Karst villages: through the wooded landscapes, among the people, and in small niches (without religious or other symbols), which are a common feature in these communities.

Here, juniper brandy is made for personal enjoyment, out of respect and love for the craft — not out of obligation.

In this way, the gathering of juniper berries has evolved into a cherished traditional ritual.
